In Islamic demonology, Zalambur (alternate spelling Zalanboor) is an evil spirit, who causes quarrels and makes people cheat.


Zalambur is the son of Iblis and has four brothers: Awar, who encourages debauchery; Dasim, who causes hatred between man and wife; Sut, who suggests lies; and Tir, who brings about calamities and injuries.


Zalambur is a demon who presides over dishonest and fraudulent business transactions.
